Are you struggling with your identity? Have you been told “you are not good enough”? Do you struggle with Stress and Anxiety? I am here to help, I believe in you. I am a Psychotherapist located in the Durham region with clients spread across Ontario. I am experienced with working with preteen and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and relationship/family issues. I take whole person approach to therapy and tailor our dialog and treatment to meet your specific need. I believe in the uniqueness of each person.

I strive to create a space where you can safely explore and process your story with compassion and non-judgement, together we will create a lasting strategy. We will explore therapeutic frameworks like Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT) skills, solution-focused therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Narrative therapy and Gottman Method Couples and Family Therapy.

My approach is client-centered, allowing you to take an active role. I want you to be able to look at yourself, see the uniqueness in you and feel proud. I need you to be able to say that no matter what I am experiencing right now, I have a future. We will work collaboratively to uncover the strengths you already possess that may be hidden.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood. I work with adults and adolescents navigating a range of life challenges. I’m here to meet you where you are as we explore what you’re going through together with curiosity, empathy, and care. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, allowing me to tailor our work to your unique needs and goals. My goal is to understand who you are, how you came to be, and the challenges you are currently facing, while supporting you in building self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-compassion. Together, we can process difficult experiences, heal from trauma, and shift thoughts and behaviours that may be contributing to your distress. I’m not the kind of therapist who just sits and listens; I actively offer insight and guidance to support you in the process. No matter how heavy things may feel right now, change is possible. I would be honoured to walk alongside you as we find solid ground and move toward the life you want.

I take a compassionate, client-centred, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. I believe that healing and meaningful change begin with feeling seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace and feel supported throughout the process. In our work together, I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to help you develop practical tools that support lasting change - not just short-term symptom relief. I value a collaborative approach, where we work together to better understand your experiences and build strategies that feel manageable, relevant, and empowering in your everyday life. I work with children, youth, adolescents, adults, couples, as well as refugees and immigrants, and I am committed to supporting individuals from diverse cultural, religious, and social backgrounds, with experience supporting clients navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, panic, depression, grief, life transitions, and workplace stress.
